You will lead the discovery, architecture, and development of high-impact, high-performance, scalable source of truth data marts and data products.     What You Will Do

    Your first day will start with a warm welcome and technical onboarding!

    • Your first 30 days will focus on getting to know HackerOne. You will join your new squad and begin onboarding - learn our technology stack (Python, Airflow, Snowflake, DBT, Meltano, Fivetran, Looker, AWS), and meet our Hackeronies.

    • Within 60 days, you will deliver impact on a company level with consistent contribution to high-impact, high-performance, scalable source of truth data marts and data products.

    • Within 90 days, you will drive the continuous evolution and innovation of data at HackerOne, identifying and leading new initiatives. Additionally, you foster cross-departmental collaboration to enhance these efforts.

    After 90 days, you will:

    • Deliver impact by developing the roadmap for continuously and iteratively launching high-impact, high-performance, scalable source of truth data marts and data products, and by leading and delivering cross-functional product and technical initiatives.

    • Be a technical paragon and cross-functional force multiplier, autonomously determining where to apply focus, contributing at all levels, elevating your squad, and designing solutions to ambiguous business challenges, in a fast-paced early-stage environment.

    Minimum Qualifications  

    • 12+ years experience as an Analytics Engineer, Business Intelligence Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar role w/ proven track record of launching source of truth data marts.

    • 12+ years of experience building and optimizing data pipelines, products, and solutions.

    • Extensive experience working with various data technologies and tools such as Airflow, Snowflake, Meltano, Fivetran, DBT, and AWS.

    • Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation in a fast-paced work environment.

    • Strong proficiency in creating compelling data stories using data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Sigma, Domo, or PowerBI. 

    • Proven track record of having substantial impact across the company, as well as externally for the company, demonstrating your ability to drive positive change and achieve significant results.

    • Must be based remotely in the United States. HackerOne is a digital-first company. This model offers our employees flexibility in time and location. All employees must be able to work and excel in a remote environment.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Strong proficiency in at least one data programming language such as Python or Scala.

    • Experience working within and with data from business applications such as Salesforce, Clari, Gainsight, Workday, GitLab, Slack, or Freshservice.

    Position Summary

    As a Sr Software Engineer, you will work with Product Managers, Designers and Principal Engineers to be the technical lead for a variety of challenging projects. When you are not leading a project, you are a collaborative and effective software engineer and team member. You will interact with one of the most vibrant communities of security researchers and hackers in the world, and use this experience to build delightful features and products for them, as well as the thousands of companies who trust HackerOne with their cybersecurity.

    You will join the team working on the HackerOne Pentest product, which allows companies to leverage the vast pentesting experience of our hacker community. HackerOne was recently named as a leader in GigaOm’s ‘Penetration Testing as a Service (PTaaS) Radar’ report. To bolster this position, there will be plenty of challenging projects for the engineering squads working in this product area.

    We are first and foremost product engineers. Digging deep to our core, we are engineers who believe that skillsets are meant to be grown. We don’t need to seek unicorns because we grow into them. Your work will contribute directly to the success of our company, and we are excited to meet you!

    • Your first month will be spent getting to know our company and your fellow HackerOnies through our well-organized and fun onboarding process called H.A.T.C.H. You will be setting up your development environment, getting a feel for our engineering processes, and embarking on a journey to fully understand the domain you will be working with.

    • By day 90 you’ll have impressed your colleagues with your technical contributions, and you’ll have earned trust and credibility within your squad and the whole Engineering team, presenting your progress during our review/demo sessions.

    As a Sr. FP&A Manager specializing in Sales and Go-To-Market (GTM) support, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our sales initiatives and go-to-market strategies.     What You Will Do

    • Financial Analysis and Reporting:

      • Partner with sales operations to analyze sales performance by product, region, customer segment, and salesperson, identifying areas for improvement and growth.

    • Go-To-Market Strategy Support:

      • Assist in the financial evaluation of new GTM strategies, product launches, pricing models, and market expansion plans.

      • Provide financial modeling and analysis to assess the profitability, ROI, and financial viability of GTM initiatives.

    • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Operations to align financial goals with business objectives.

      • Act as a trusted advisor to sales leadership, providing financial insights and recommendations to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.

    • Process Improvement and Efficiency:

      • Continuously identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance financial reporting capabilities, and improve data accuracy.

      • Implement best practices and standardized methodologies to optimize financial planning and analysis activities.

    Minimum Qualifications  

    • 5+ years experience as a financial analysis

    • Strong experience in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and data analysis tools (e.g., Gsheets, Excel, Salesforce).

    • Proven experience in partner management, with a focus on supporting specific departments, ideally Sales and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams.

    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

    • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
